Die NADA war am Montag zu einem ersten Austauschgespräch bei der neu gegründeten Schwerpunktstaatsanwaltschaft Zweibrücken. Das Land Rheinland-Pfalz hatte Zweibrücken im August 2017 als Zentralstelle für Dopingdelikte gegründet.
An dem ersten gemeinsamen Treffen nahmen neben Vertretern der Staatsanwaltschaft Zweibrücken auch Vertreter des Amts- und Landgerichts teil. "Die Konzentration von Schwerpunktstaatsanwaltschaft sowie Amts- und Landgericht, die sich in Zusammenarbeit mit Dopingdelikten beschäftigen, ist einmalig und kommt einer einheitlichen Anti-Doping-Arbeit sehr zu Gute", sagte Dr. Lars Mortsiefer, Vorstandsmitglied und Chefjustitiar der NADA.
Grundlage für den gemeinsamen Austausch bildet das seit Dezember 2015 in Kraft getretene Anti-Doping-Gesetz. Ziel des gemeinsamen Treffens war es, die Kooperation zu intensivieren und den Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen der Staatsanwaltschaft Zweibrücken und der NADA auszubauen. Ein gemeinsames Vorgehen erhöht die Effektivität der Anti-Doping-Arbeit.

NADA for exchange at the public prosecutor's office in Zweibruecken
On Monday, NADA met with the newly established specialized public prosecution office in Zweibruecken for a first exchange. The State of Rhineland-Palatinate had established Zweibruecken as a centre for doping offences in August 2017.
In addition to representatives of the public prosecutor's office Zweibruecken, this first joint meeting was also attended by representatives of the district and regional courts. "The strategic focus of the specialised public prosecution office, and its cooperation with the offices of both, the district court and the regional court, who jointly dealing with doping offences, is unique and thus strongly promotes to a consistent anti-doping work", said Dr. Lars Mortsiefer, member of the Executive Board and NADA's head of Legal Matters.
The German Anti-Doping Act, which has been effective since December 2015, provides the basis for this joint exchange. The aim of the joint meeting was to intensify the cooperation and to expand the exchange of experience between the public prosecution office Zweibruecken and NADA. A common approach increases the effectiveness of anti-doping work.
