Oberbürgermeister Ashok Sridharan war am Freitag zu Gast bei der Nationalen Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA). Er traf sich mit dem NADA-Vorstand zu einem Gespräch im Vorfeld der Feierlichkeiten zum 15-jährigen Bestehen der NADA in Bonn.
Themen des Gesprächs war neben der Vorbereitung des Festaktes im Haus der Geschichte, die Unterbringungsfrage der NADA. Die Stadt Bonn stellt der NADA seit ihrer Gründung die Geschäftsstelle in der Heussallee 38 zur Verfügung. Seit 2002 ist die Stiftung von fünf Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern auf mittlerweile 36 Bedienstete gewachsen. Die Geschäftsstelle ist damit seit längerer Zeit zu klein geworden und die Raumsituation ein wichtiges Thema für die NADA.

LORD MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BONN VISITS NADA
The Lord Mayor of the city of Bonn, Mr. Ashok Sridharan, visited the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA) on Friday. He met with the NADA Executive Board for an exchange in the run-up of the celebrations for the 15th anniversary of the NADA in Bonn.
A major topic of their conversation was, apart from the preparations of the ceremony in the Haus der Geschichte in Bonn, the office space and housing situation of NADA. The city of Bonn has been providing the NADA premises in Heussallee 38 since its founding. Since 2002, the anti-doping foundation has grown from a staff of five to 36 employees. Thus, available office space has become too cramped for quite some time and the room situation vital topic for NADA.
