Zum zweiten Mal kamen auf Einladung der Nationalen Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA) Expertinnen und Experten internationaler Anti-Doping-Agenturen aus dem Bereich der Dopingkontrollplanung zu einem Austausch in Bonn zusammen. Im Fokus des Treffens standen auch Fragen zur Umsetzung von Maßnahmen, die sich aus den Erkenntnissen der "Operation Aderlass" für die Kontrollplanung ableiten lassen.
Darüber hinaus wurde unter anderem über Strategien zur Langzeitlagerung von Proben diskutiert, neues Probenahme-Equipment begutachtet sowie aktuelle Analyseverfahren aus den Laboren vorgestellt.
Der Austausch wird seit 2018 jährlich organisiert, um international die Harmonisierung und Weiterentwicklung von Kontrollstrategien unter Berücksichtigung neuester wissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse voranzutreiben.
Während sich der Teilnehmerkreis beim ersten Meeting auf europäische Anti-Doping-Agenturen beschränkte, wurden nun auch Vertreterinnen und Vertreter der US-amerikanischen Anti-Doping-Agentur USADA sowie der kanadischen Anti-Doping-Agentur CCES in Bonn begrüßt. An dem Treffen nahmen Expertinnen und Experten für Kontrollplanung der Anti-Doping-Organisationen aus zehn Ländern teil: Dänemark, Deutschland, Großbritannien, Kanada, Norwegen, Österreich, Schweden, Schweiz, Spanien und USA.

Second international expert exchange on doping controls
At the invitation of the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA), experts from international anti-doping agencies in the field of doping control planning met for the second time for an exchange in Bonn. The meeting also focused on questions concerning the implementation of measures that can be derived from the findings of "Operation Aderlass" for the testing planning.
In addition, strategies for the long-term storage of samples were discussed, new sampling equipment was examined and current analytical methods from the laboratories were presented.
The exchange has been organised annually since 2018 in order to promote the harmonisation and further development of testing strategies internationally, taking into account the latest scientific findings.
While the participants at the first meeting were limited to European anti-doping agencies, representatives of the US anti-doping agency USADA and the Canadian anti-doping agency CCES were welcomed in Bonn. The meeting was attended by experts in control planning for anti-doping organizations from ten countries: Austria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA.
