Ice hockey: Results management procedure in the Dane Fox case

Due to the reporting in the case of ice hockey player Dane Fox, the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) clarifies the following:

On 27 January 2025, NADA Germany initiated a results management proceedings under sports law against the ice hockey player Dane Fox (Dresdner Eislöwen) due to an Adverse Analytical Finding (substance: tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), substance class S8. of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List). The presence or use of the specific substance is prohibited in competition. A provisional suspension has not been imposed. A provisional suspension is not mandatory for specific substances.
