Federal Minister of the Interior and for Home Affairs Nancy Faeser supports the ‘Home match for fairness’ campaign initiated by the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) and the Federal Institute for Sports Science (BISp) for UEFA EURO 2024. In a video message, the Minister advocates fair play at the home European Championships, which begin on 14 June:

"Sport plays a key role in teaching essential values of our society, such as recognising and adhering to the rules of the game, team spirit and fair play. Sport is fun, inspiring and strengthens our social community. The EURO 2024 in our country will be a sporting event that embodies both top-class sport and the communication of values in equal measure."

The support of the Federal Minister of the Interior underlines the social value of the campaign and emphasises the importance of doping education for NADA Germany and BISp.

The ‘Home match for fairness’ campaign is part of the ‘Home match for europe’ project initiated by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Home Affairs (BMI) and covers the topic of doping education.
