In close cooperation with Carlsen K, the children's media agency of Carlsen Verlag, the National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) has developed the Pixi children's book entitled "Nika wants to win". The exciting story about fair play is specially designed for children of kindergarten and early primary school age. It is the first product that NADA Germany has created for this young target group as part of the values conveyed by NADA Germany's prevention approach TOGETHER AGAINST DOPING.
The story by Corinna Fuchs with illustrations by Yvonne Sundag deals with the topic of fair play in sport in a child-friendly way. Nika and her friends Isabella and Samir complete various stations at a sports festival. However, Nika does not always play fair and disregards the rules. When Nika wins in the end, her friends are deeply disappointed about Nika's behaviour during the sports festival. Together with Nika, Isabella and Samir, children learn what it means to cheat, to admit mistakes and to win friendship in the end.
The children's book format Pixi by Carlsen Verlag has been an indispensable part of children's rooms for many years. The compact reading books deal with a wide variety of topics from around the world and present them in a suitable way for young children.
