Die Nationale Anti Doping Agentur Deutschland (NADA) hat das Institut für Sportrecht der Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln mit der Fortführung der Evaluation des Nationalen Anti-Doping Codes (NADC) in Deutschland beauftragt. Der NADC ist das maßgebliche Regelwerk im Bereich der Anti-Doping-Arbeit in Deutschland und setzt die internationalen Vorgaben des Welt Anti-Doping Codes (WADC) national um.
Ein erstes Forschungsprojekt widmet sich inhaltlich der Frage nach dem Erfolg der Dopingbekämpfung auf Grundlage des NADC. Ziel des Forschungsauftrages ist es, neben der Evaluierung und Erfolgsmessung der Umsetzung des Codes, auch Vorschläge zur Verbesserung der rechtlichen Vorgaben im Anti-Doping-Bereich und zur Optimierung der alltäglichen Anwendung des NADC zu erarbeiten. Diese Vorschläge sollen sich weiterhin auf eine verbesserte Ausfüllung von Regelungsspielräumen durch die NADA erstrecken.
Das vom Bundesministerium des Innern, für Bau und Heimat aufgrund eines Beschlusses des Deutschen Bundestages geförderte Projekt hat eine Laufzeit von zwei Jahren.

The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA) assigned the Institute for Sports Law of the German Sport University Cologne to continue the evaluation of the National Anti-Doping Code (NADC) in Germany. The NADC is the authoritative body of rules in the anti-doping work in Germany and implements the international requirements of the World Anti-Doping Code (WADC) on a national basis.
A first research project examined the success of the fight against doping on the basis of the NADC. In addition to evaluate and measure the success of the implementation of the Code, the aim of the research assignment is to develop proposals for improving the legal requirements in the anti-doping field and to optimize the day-to-day application of the NADC. These proposals should also extend to an improved filling of regulatory leeway by NADA.
The project, funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior, for Building and Community on the basis of a resolution of the German Bundestag, will run for two years.
