In exactly one year's time, the UEFA EURO 2024, the European Men's Football Championship, will begin in Germany on 14 June. The Federal Government is supporting the major event with many concrete projects and is officially launching the various campaigns today. The German Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community (BMI), as the coordinating Ministry, will place special emphasis on the unifying power of sport. The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) is participating together with the Federal Institute for Sport Science (BISp) with a project in the context of doping prevention.
Among other things, interaction stands, a conference on the topic of health protection and social media campaigns are planned. In order to illustrate that findings from anti-doping work are also relevant in other areas of society and for the general population, the focus will be on the topics of " Values" and "Health Protection".
