The National Anti Doping Agency of Germany (NADA Germany) organised two digital anti-doping courses in October, providing information on medical anti-doping topics in particular.
At the education session on 9 October, 200 sport federation doctors were trained on current medical anti-doping topics. Topics included the current Prohibited List with the changes for 2025 and medical exemptions.
On 23 October, the role of physiotherapists in connection with these topics was specifically addressed for the first time. Around 190 physiotherapists accepted the invitation and took part in the training. Both training sessions were well received by the participants.
Sport Federation physicians must be informed about the anti-doping regulations and in particular about all medical anti-doping topics. In order to be up to date, they must regularly take part in anti-doping training.
